Unibaltic statement over recent events in Ukraine

Unibaltic is keeping track of recent events in the Ukraine with a great concern and sadness. Despite the fact that we have always been a non-political company and refrained from any political stance, the ongoing situation in Ukraine shall be addressed immediately. We would like to emphasise the utmost solidarity for the citizens of Ukraine by the means of any tangible efforts related to the suport for Ukrainian refuges including but not limited to financial and accomodation aid. Ukrainian citizens are among of our truly valued crew members, their dedication and dilligence is well known and recognised. We would like also to express sincere gratitude to the other crew members for their solidarity and suport for fellow Ukrainian colleagues – we are proud of you!

Recalling the part of Yuval Noah Harari’s column, the world’s greatest achievement was a decline of war. Regretfully we have lost it with a blink of an eye. Nevertheless, we truly believe that a strong feeling of solidarity and support across the boundaries will be the testimony of the humanity strenght – which should never be turned down.
